Project Manager

One of our sector leading clients is seeking a Project Manager to join their Procurement team in their London based office. You will be working alongside senior members of the Procurement Systems team, managing a number of major projects across the business. You will also take ownership of a pipeline of projects to transform the procurement processes and systems, whilst assuring the effective implementation of best practice.

Project Manager duties will include, but not limited to:

*Managing and delivering large/multi-country projects within the agreed scope, time and budget

*Work collaboratively with a number of teams and senior members across the business

*Planning, resourcing and scheduling projects effectively

*Monitoring, testing and reporting on deliverables

*Ensuring the projects status and progress are being tracked and reported

*Owning the pipeline of procurement process transformation projects, coordinating these, supporting on the prioritisation, and monitoring project resources

*Change management

*Driving best practice and promoting a process-driven culture

*Developing project methodology and standards for the team

*Handing over and closing down projects to business as usual upon project completion

As the Project Manager you will be required to possess:

*Strong project management experience, managing a large number of projects at the same time

*Experience with the end-to-end delivery of major process/systems projects within a large corporation

*Previous experience managing a programme or portfolio of projects, coordinating and prioritising the workload, budgets and resources

*Previous experience with structuring and managing change

*Strong stakeholder management experience

*Experience specialising within procurement would be advantageous but not essential

This role will involve occasional international travel, and so all candidates who apply must be able accommodate this.
