Software Project Manager - Banbury - Major Defence Project (no current SC Clearance required, will be obtained later)We are looking for a software project manager to work on a large defence project in Banbury. You will be working in a small team of engineers and external stakeholders to deliver a project to a large defence company that is likely to last 2-2.5 years. We are looking to offer an 18 month contract on a days worked/ days paid basis on approximately £350-£380 per day (rates potentially negotiable dependant on relevant experience).Ideally we are looking for a project manager from a software background, or a lead/ principal software engineer who is looking to move into project management. Below are a list of qualities which we would like to see from prospective candidates; - Previous experience as a software engineer with an aptitude for project management or; - a project manager who has delivered software projects - Experience in the defence industry or industry's with complex processes beneficial - The ability to become SC cleared or currently SC clearedIf you think you have the necessary skills, please apply with an attached CV and we will respond within 24 hours.
