Our client provides services and products to schools in the UK and abroad. They are based in Burnopfield on the outskirts of Newcastle upon Tyne and are looking to recruit a motivated and committed individual to our small team in the role of Customer Support Manager.
The role would be largely office based supporting schools with our range of physical and online products. This would involve advising & assisting customers, giving online demos & training to provide further understanding of the products, liaising with different suppliers to further develop the products & producing & sending marketing information to promote understanding.
The role would also involve some travel where schools require onsite support. Travelling to conferences (nationwide) to support the director and team of consultants would also be required. This would include setting up equipment, and liaising with delegates and conference organisers at the venues.
The role would also require the project management of existing and new products and would include a sales/marketing aspect.
We are a small company and the role described above may involve other aspects when required.
Essential:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent administrative skills
- Excellent IT skills
- Excellent organisation skills
- Clean driving licence
- Over 21 (in order to drive the company vehicle)
Desirable:
- Graduate
- Experience of customer support
- Education background
The hours would be 8.30-5.00 when based in the office but unsociable hours above this would be required when out on the road.
A company vehicle will be supplied when travelling for the company
