Principal Software Engineer experienced in Cyber Security is required by a market leading company. Our client is looking for a Principal Software Engineer who will be responsible implementing and overseeing software security standards and management of frameworks being used.This is an excellent chance to work for a highly regarded company who value their employees and offer a competitive benefits package. Job role:

•Provides expert advice and guidance to the project teams, other designers and systems development on how to develop secure solutions which ensure the Information Security policies and practices are met.•Work and co-ordinate with the Bid and Sales teams to ensure Information Security requirements are correctly identified in new business and can be effectively developed in secure manner•Deliver secure solution which meet the clients/customers' requirements Identify Security solutions and patterns that will have a positive effect on the core service•Recognises opportunities for business or valid applications across a very broad technical front and shows ability to take action and exploit such opportunities•Ensure the robust application development governance processes to ensure that we do the right thing with regard to security and risk•Works with colleagues and client/users to investigate and model business functions, processes, information flows and data structures, using methodical and consistent techniques

Skills and experience required:

•Relevant Industry education & IT qualifications aligned to secure solution design and•Development•CISMP, CISSP or similar experience•Significant experience in secure development within Financial Services (e.g. OWASP)•Experience of Java frameworks•An awareness of best practice associated with FS Risk & Compliance•Experience in agile development techniques, e.g. SCRUM•Previous work in an Agile environment•Previous experience working Front End / Back End•Knowledge and experience of relevant software technologies such as RPG, Java, VB, .net, and SQL
