Our Government Client in London are looking for a Website Project Manager to project manage delivery of a new website, from early planning through to going live. Candidate will be involved in the tender process for sourcing a website contractor and then managing on the Client's behalf to ensure the project is delivered to a high standard, on time and on budget.

The Role:

· Finalise the invitation to tender for a company to design a new website

· Appoint a company and then client manage the company on the Client's behalf to ensure the project is delivered to a high standard, with good engagement internally and is on time and on budget.

Key Skills / Experience

· At least 5 years' digital experience, with strong HTML, CSS skills and advanced knowledge of the relevant web standards (accessibility, usability, information architecture, SEO)

· Excellent management skills, in order to communicate regularly with the team on progress, compliance with costs and deadlines and possible problems encountered

· Strong technical knowledge that will allow you to speak effectively with both the technical team and non-technical internal stakeholders

· Ability to manage many different jobs and meet deadlines consistently

· Expertise in digital design, user experience and information architecture testing

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Experience overseeing the implementation of a new website, including migration from the old website to the new

· Have experience of working for public sector

· Experience in developing Government websites
