Technical Support Advisor 
Kendal, Cumbria 
Up to £35,000 DOE

Founded in 1984, our client is a software decision support company that provides software for the long-term safety monitoring of chronic disease. They are looking for a Technical Support Advisor to join their friendly team. 

You will help initially by providing customer technical support for software systems, then will progress to help make changes and improvements to our client's software, and finally work on new developments. 

As a Technical Support Advisor, you will: 

- Provide technical support to customers 
- Support the sales process 
- Assist with the specification, installation, configuration and testing of software 
- Help to make changes and improvements to software and work on new developments (once you're established in your role)

Interested? 

To be considered as a Technical Support Advisor, you'll need: 

- A good understanding of computers and networking 
- An excellent telephone manner 
- A degree (or equivalent) or another technical qualification 

Experience of writing programming code such as SQL, HTML or JavaScript and databases would be beneficial to your application. However, this is not essential, as full training will be provided to candidates without an IT background.
