Solution Architect - Supply Chain

Spring Technology are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our leading Clients.

This is an initial 6 month contract based in Macclesfield

*You will be responsible for solution architecture - including blueprints and key design decisions for prioritised projects within the programme and any other relevant projects.

*This will include Clinical Supply specific projects and projects that have a clinical supply element, advising the responsible domain solution architect, and writing and supplying to design documentation as required.

*You will work with the capability areas (business relationship managers and business analysts) and solution engineering functions to support functional and technical requirements management, including driving software selection processes and translating requirements to a high-level solution design (blueprint).

*You will ensure that solution architectures and designs are appropriately robust and address business, application, information, infrastructure and security architectural requirements.

*You will partner with project managers, business analysts, and solution engineers to design solutions that are aligned to architecture standards and principles, utilise common, re-usable architectural components and services, and meet the financial targets (cost and benefits).

Technical Knowledge, Skills & Experience

*Validated solution architect experience in the application architecture domain and preferably one other architecture domain (integration, infrastructure, data or security).

*Solution architecture experience in the pharmaceutical or supply chain domain. In addition, we are ideally seeking an architect with some knowledge and experience of Clinical Trial design and supply.

*Experience designing end-to-end solutions that operate across all domains of IT.

*Validated skills and experience in solution architecting projects.

*Experience of writing solution options documents, high level solution design documents (blueprints) and documenting key design decisions.

*Experience across a variety of Operations capability areas i.e. Supply Chain and Distribution, Procurement, Manufacturing, Factory Operations or Quality, BI & Information (Master Data).
