Specific Responsibilities
 
To ensure deliveries into client are inspected and received onto account in a timely manner.Work with the Stores Department to turn around rework items efficiently using most expedient solution where possible.Inspect goods to the correct standard including MIL105d.To identify non-conforming parts at the point of receipt. Record and report appropriate information to suppliers and management. Communicate directly with suppliers and relevant stakeholders to correct non-conforming products in expedient timescales.Ensure that all appropriate certification and test results are obtained and archived for all appropriate deliveries.Support the internal and external auditing schedule through accurate and traceable records.To support build process (vehicles / seats) as and when required.To understand and comply with Company policies and procedures including, but not limited to, ISO9001 and ISO14001.Ensuring Measuring and Calibration equipment is maintained and Calibrated as per set maintenance intervals.Housekeeping and maintenance of a clean and tidy work area.Supports the identification of supplier quality root causes of non-compliant parts and proactively seeks improvements with suppliers.This job description is not an exhaustive list of duties, but it is intended to give a general indication of the range of work undertaken and will vary in detail in the light of changing demands and priorities within the Department.  Any substantive changes in the range of work undertaken will be carried out in consultation with the job holder.

Qualifications
 Relevant qualification in a Quality Engineering discipline or relevant knowledge in an engineering background (manufacture / assembly)Knowledge
 Understand and read engineering drawings. Ideally Exp with the inspection of fabricated and machined parts.Confidence in speaking directly to stakeholders including internal,  external/suppliers.Use of quality inspection equipment.PC skills word, excel.Familiarity with ERP SystemsKnowledge of ISO9001 procedures.Has attention to detail and can apply a practical approach to problem solving.Other
