Senior Quantity SurveyorKent | Residential | SQS This is a Senior Quantity Surveyor role with a multi-discipline contractor who are currently involved with one of London's largest development programmes. You will be developing a team of Quantity Surveyors, whilst working on a variety of residential projects ranging between £10m and £150m. These projects will be a mixture of high rise residential, residential mixed use, regeneration and social housing. Key duties and responsibilities Head up/ undertake development appraisalsTender analysis and reportsMaximise client development opportunities by working with design managersSupport PMs and EAsCost planning and estimatingPackage procurementLeading the design teams on residential projectsProvision on general costs and contractual advice to clients and employers' agents on residential developmentsTraining and developing team members, including mentoring and providing support to junior members. Key requirements for this SQS roleMust have contractor or developer experienceExperience as QS within the residential sectorStrong working knowledge of common construction contracts, with excellent experience in programme management.A good understanding of build costs.Must have experience with residential sector cost planningMust be degree qualifiedMust be client facing and able to develop client accountsPrevious experience on new build residential developments will be advantageous Remuneration for this SQS role£60,000 - £65,000 per annumBonusPension contributionsLife insurancePrivate medical insuranceChildcare voucher scheme33 days holidayProfessional subscriptionsExcellent career progression opportunities.
