Salary circa up to £25,000 (permanent)
My client, a leading library technology partner who are responsible for the provision of PC bookings, print management, wireless control and hosted services with unparalleled experience offering a range of innovative market-leading solutions to our customers are looking to appoint an IT Support Technician (1st line) to provide software support to its growing customer base.

Key responsibilities:Dealing with customers and service calls to provide software supportGood analytical and problem-solving skillsLogging and prioritisation of calls in-line with existing processesProviding remote support, configuration, documentation and administrationEscalating calls where appropriate to other team membersProviding regular updates to customers and internal staffSystem documentation and AdministrationHave excellent communication skillsFull Driving License
In return we'll need you to have some of the following: Experience working in a 1st line or service desk capacityYou will work with customers to deliver quick accurate resolutions and a high level of customer service.Be able to work as part of a teamExcellent communication skillsGood knowledge of Networks and Microsoft Operating Systems. Experience working with Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Servers and Microsoft SQL would be advantageous.A DBS Check will be done on appointment of the role.
