Solihull, South Birmingham, West MidlandsDue to growth and an enviable 5-year business plan commencing this year, this client is an established and dynamic financial services organisation who are inviting Automation Systems Specialists to their casting couch asap.This post is a brand-new career opportunity and you will need to be a professional, challenge orientated and focused Automation Specialist. You will need previous experience in the automation, orchestration, infrastructure as well as code and agile methodologies.You will drive automation and will have a range of technical expertise working across multiple disciplines.You will own automation within the environment and develop stakeholder relationship with all teams promoting Automation culture and principles as well as helping shape the future hosting requirements utilising cloud technologies. Duties & Responsibilities:Automation using PowerShell/ System Centre toolsWork across teams to improve efficiency and reliabilityProviding guidance, direction coaching and mentoring in automation conceptsEnsure auditable adherence to DPA, ISO27001 and other applicable legislation and standardsFollow core processes and procedures such as change control and incident loggingThis role is pivotal but challenging, diverse and rewarding and will offer you an opportunity to grow and put your signature on your work as the breadth of in-house technology and pipelined projects are substantial.Key technical experience required will involve around: Extensive knowledge of Microsoft OS, Automation, Monitoring and APISA demonstrable gift for improving technology, processes and systems using orchestration and automation.Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft System Center 2016A proven maturity in Orchestrator runbook creation and PowerShell scripting.Extensive Windows Server 2012 to 2016 expertise highly desirableHigh-level exposure to Active Directory, ADFS, Group PolicyExpert knowledge of Virtualisation VMware and/or Hyper-VExtensive experience and ability to design, develop and deploy automated solutionsExtensive knowledge of Microsoft OS, automation, monitoring and APISCisco networking experience with exposure to ISE or Software defined networking a bonus.Good experience with web technologies Take this opportunity to rise above your peers and secure a role to elevate your IT career.
