Senior Network Architect - Basingstoke - 12+Months My Client a large multinational technology company, are seeking talented Senior Network Architect's to join them in Basingstoke on-site (5 days a week) on an initial contract. The client will offer a competitive rate and you will be able to learn and grow; designing documentation across a variety of network solutions.Role background The successful candidate will represent my client at customer forums, conferences, and professional bodies to build my clients reputation in the market placeAs a Network Architect you will work closely with Solution Owners to produce design documentation on a wide variety of network solutions which will vary in size, scale and complexity.You will join a team of Network architects where you will design larger more complex solutions using the technical input to Bid.You will responsible for:Shaping technical proposals to be commercially acceptable to the customer and may make solution/service trade-offs to improve Bid offering.Defining the approach to larger/more complex solution development and acceptance testing, controlling technical scope and the work of the design team in order to ensure an acceptable cost structure.Establishing customer requirements for a solution building strong relationships and acting as a major influence in the customer choosing the client.Contributing to definition of customer's overall IT architecture, designing new solutions of significant size and complexity, and can manage the work of specialists contributing to the design and implementation.Sharing knowledge with colleagues to make a useful contribution to the client's knowledge base.Skills Experience of Software Defined (SD) & WAN NetworksYou should have experience of working within pre-sales or a multimillion pound bid environmentA higher national security clearance is required for this role but candidates not holding this level of clearance will be considered..
