Application Support-Edinburgh In this role the successful candidate would be responsible for providing Application Support to internal users/stakeholders in all areas within the financial sector. My client are specialists in global asset management and operates across a wide range of investment sectors and platforms.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the configuration, technical design, implementation and end user support of various applicationsRespond to end user support requests, ensuring user documentation is continuously reviewed and updatedTechnical resource for internal and external projectsReduce risks and problems within the firmBuild up knowledge across several key applications supported by the teamDeliver process improvements through data management and reportingPartner with all levels of internal and external stakeholders on application developmentMaintain system stabilityCollaborate with business to perform risk assessments on applicationsTroubleshoot technical issuesResolve potential software flawsWork through effective incident and problem management proceduresParticipate in risk and compliance activitiesEnsure the resolution in line with SLA'sCo- ordinate on a local/international level within the businessThe candidate The ideal candidate should come from an investment management/ financial services background.
