CAD Technician (Residential - Drainage/Road) You'll be based just off the A12 outside Colchester, sometimes visiting project sites in the surrounding areas CAD design role on offer for a company that can offer you training, provide courses at local college in either road or drainage design, and the chance to develop your technical skills and move into a senior level in a team of CAD technicians. Do you have experience in residential CAD work on roads/highways or drainage? Are you looking to join a small, well-run consultancy? Established 10 years ago, this company provides project based design solutions in the residential design sector. They are currently looking for a more CAD design engineer to join their business as part of a mission to continue to provide a tailored approach to client needs and in doing so, deliver a great service. In this role you will be confident in deferring work to lower-level CAD design technicians, identifying project solutions in a great environment where everyone pitches in to assist with projects. You will mostly be using expert computer skills (e.g. Autocad) for design and also visiting sites for project management purposes. The Ideal person will be CAD engineer who has worked within the residential sector with a good level of experience in the drainage or road aspects, and is passionate about working as an important part of a small, family run company that pride themselves on their service and maintaining their respected image in the industry.
