A highly innovative organisation building financial markets platforms underpinned with Blockchain technology is seeking a Cloud/DevOps Engineer to join its team based in London. The company is building up its team, so come and help shape it!The company is seeking someone who will be focused on Cloud services (AWS or Azure) and you will be working with Docker, Terraform, Maven, Java, some scripting (Shell or Python) in a continuous integration / automated environment, scaling systems and building platforms that last. This is a very hands-on delivery role where you will be focusing on the smooth adoption of tools, environments, process, technology and code while cutting down deployment time. You will also be:Helping to create a framework for developer support with tooling for monitoring and logging infrastructure and applications.Working closely with Infrastructure, Engineering and Development teams to ensure platform delivery. To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:
A Computer Science or Computer Engineering graduate with commercial experience.Experience with AWS, Azure or other Cloud.An understanding of broader infrastructure i.e. networks, DNS, DevOps function, build and deploy automation, IAC.Great communication and problem-solving skills.Delivery focussed. Scripting skills (Shell, Python) advantageous (any development experience also advantageous). This role would also suit a support developer wishing to move into Cloud / DevOps engineering or full-stack role. In return, the Cloud / DevOps Engineer will receive a salary of £50,000 to £60,000 per annum DOE plus excellent benefits including; pension, bonus package, training and development events.
