Enigma People Solutions has been exclusively retained to recruit an experienced Electronics Engineer for our international technology client. Our client is a well established and well recognised international technology business with an established and growing R&D function based just outside of Edinburgh.

 

On offer is the opportunity to take a technical leadership role within an international technology business that is highly respected, treats it's staff very well and delivers outstanding products into it's key markets.

 

Reporting to the Electronics Engineering Manager and as part of a multi-disciplinary R&D team, your role will be to provide project and technical leadership for the design and development of electronic systems and modules for new and existing imaging product developments.

 

To be of interest you will be a friendly, grounded collaborative professional with a commercial awareness and a keenness to see the designs you are involved in go into production.

 

You will be able to demonstrate that you have the following experience:

Extensive experience in complex electronics design engineering.

Technical excellence in analogue/digital electronics design analysis using modelling and experimental/prototyping methods.

Experience of ownership of delivering design solutions with significant elements of cross functional design out with the electronics expertise (e.g. optical, mechanical, software, firmware)

Practical skills in assembly and debug of electronics.

Thorough knowledge of design for manufacturing, assembly and test

Experience of design for EMC and debug of EMC issues

Thorough understanding of applicable product safety requirements (EN60601) desired

Good knowledge of ISO13485 and FDA Medical Device Design Control processes
