Technology Product Owner

£60,000 to £70,000 + Bonus + Benefits

As a preferred recruitment partner to this well-established global financial services organisation we have been asked to assist in the hire of a permanent Technology Product Owner to deliver fit-for-purpose and future-proofed technology products and services and their associated business change to stakeholders.

As a Technology Product Owner you will manage teams to deliver secure, well-designed applications, services and associated process changes to the customers / stakeholders you will support. This is a very exciting opportunity to work for a very well-known financial services group.

Key Responsibilities

-Lead, deliver and maintain a portfolio of technology products / services

-Own product delivery across Run and Change (including analysis, design, development, testing, etc.)

-Lead cross functional technology teams

-Manage products across all phases of their life-cycle using DevOps

-Drive continuous improvement

-Understanding and remediating the risk profile of products

-Deliver security and resilience

-Provide level 2 and level 3 support for products

-Provide effective stakeholder communication

-Take accountability for removing blockers

-Manage decommissioning of legacy technologies

-Drive innovation and vision through agile values and principles

-Work with and challenge solution architects to ensure solutions are delivering value

Skills and Experience Required

-Significant experience managing development and technical teams

-Experience in a wide variety of IT Roles (systems analysis, architecture, development and project management)

-Knowledge of a wide variety of technologies (including at least one of; .NET and Development Frameworks, Application and Data Integration or Data Development and Data Warehousing)

-Experience implementing DevOps best practices

-Experience delivering complex technology

-Working with, managing and delivering through third party suppliers

-Managing competing priorities

-Financial Services experience desirable

-Ideally holds; COBIT 5, Agile, ITIL and Development Qualifications (e.g. Microsoft MVP)
