DBA / DevOps Engineer (PostgreSQL Linux Ansible Python Powershell Kafka CI/CD). Successful quantitative research and technology company is seeking a DBA / DevOps Engineer to be responsible for supporting all aspects of the PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Cassandra and future database platforms. You'll be working closely with other teams across the business to develop Infrastructure as Code and continuous integration solutions with automation and scripting whilst also implementing technologies that will enable the team to transition to a Database as a Service model.

Based in central London, you'll be joining a collaborative team within a relaxed and positive work environment where you can enjoy regular social events, such as weekends away.

Requirements:

Previous experience within a DBA role

PostgreSQL expert

Scripting experience (Python, Powershell, Ansible)

Automation experience

Working knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD and tooling (Jenkins, Git, Bamboo)

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Desirable: Kafka, Cassandra, Kubernetes, AWS, Linux
