Primary Functions;

Plan and execute the installation of the project in accordance with the schedules and budgets established by the Project Manager. Includes coordination of all site activities including subcontractors, crews, material deliveries, and interface with the on-site customer representative(s) for requirements such as utility outages, deliveries, site access and event coordination. Ensure that all changed conditions and Owner directed changes are brought to the immediate attention of the Project Manager.For the assigned project, enforce all corporate, customer and site safety requirements, including safety plans, activity hazard analysis recommendations, safety meetings, and training. Ensure that regular inspection of activities, equipment and tools are conducted in accordance with company policy and project safety and health plans. Document all accidents and safety incidents, including generating reports to the Customer and the corporate home office.Assist the Project Manager with the development and updating of budgets and project schedules for their individual project.As required establish field offices, utilities, mail a phone service, petty cash, and local vendor accounts. Upon completion of the project, ensure that all jobsite related activities and accounts are properly closed out.Responsible for generating and maintaining Company required documentation including Daily Production Reports, Weekly Reports, Time sheets, Expense Reports and other project administrative documentation including shipping/receiving logs.,project photographs, employee time reports, expense reports, purchase order logs, guest/visitor registers, overall jobsite maintenance and housekeeping.Training;

The applicant must be trained in the skills required to perform and supervise as described in this job description, including the proper application of the drawings and specifications required by customer contracts, the proper storage and allocation of paints and welding supplies, the proficient use of the measuring tools required, and a sound basic knowledge of metals, welding requirements, and electrical requirements.Experience;

Must be able to proficiently read and interpret fabrication and Engineering drawings and specifications and be able to effectively communicate the requirements of these instructions to the workforce and/or Contractors. Position requires extensive travelling and ability to relocate approximately semi-annually. Must be Familiar with electrical, welding, fire, safety and other construction codes and procedures. Familiarity with Norwegian building/construction practices and associated safety legislation would be highly beneficial. Must have a working knowledge of general construction and electrical/ mechanical installation, and advanced knowledge of structural steel and sheet metal erection and installation. Due to the nature of the position, the individual selected must meet certain physical requirements for general installation activities. May require that the individual be qualified to obtain security clearances. Interpersonal and management skills and the ability to communicate clearly on site are required. Must be able to prepare reports, communicate effectively with all associates, suppliers, and customers as required to effectively perform assigned duties. Must be capable of applying sound judgement to all required decisions. Must be computer literate for the relevant applications of, MS Project, spreadsheets, word processing applications, Microsoft Outlook. Strong organisational skills required. Must have ability to handle multiple tasks, have strong teamwork skills, and ability to obtain cooperation of others in submitting required documentation and reports in a complete and timely manner.
