Spring Technology are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our leading Legal sector clients.

Based in central Liverpool the client are looking for an experienced Software Tester.

The team has recognised the need to grow in order to meet increased demand. The successful candidate will conduct automated and manual tests to ensure software is fit for purpose and free of bugs and issues before deployed to our live environment.

The successful candidate must possess a good knowledge of testing strategies and techniques and will be fully involved in the quality assurance stage of software development and deployment

This role should be filled by a software tester with previous experience in a similar role. It is essential that the successful candidate be enthusiastic about the technologies being used and they possess a desire to learn how to use these appropriately in an enterprise environment.

*Working with the developers and product management to understand the testing requirements of forthcoming releases

*Performing integration tests to ensure that new features in product releases are fit for delivery

*Writing automated regression tests to repeatedly test existing features

*Writing and running performance tests to ensure that the system can cope with the expected loads

*Work towards departmental project deadlines

*Work on multiple projects at one time

*Test in different environments including web and mobile

*Carry out resource planning

*Follow standards and procedures to produce consistent measurable results

*Be proactive in identifying and resolving potential issues before they become incidents

*Working knowledge of testing automation tools

*Qualified to ISTQB Foundation level

*Several years' experience working in similar role

*Familiar with Agile development methodologies

Critical thinker and excellent problem-solving skills
