Senior Power Supply Design Engineer

£62k+ ### Cambridge

About the role

Do you have experience in the design of switch-mode power supplies and their associated microcontrollers?

I am currently recruiting for a client based near Cambridge who are looking for a Senior Power Supply Design Engineer who can create the next generation of power supply controllers creating value for their customers.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

* Develop next-generation solutions based on client requirements.

* Provide technical support to external design teams

* Take leadership on new developments.

* Undertake systems architecture and requirements.

The successful applicant will have a degree in electronics or electrical engineering with proven exposure in the following:

* Common SMPS topologies.

* Magnetics design.

* Control loop theory

* Digital and analogue.
