JUNIOR PYTHON DEVELOPEROSTERLEY 6 MONTHSOur client requires 1 Junior Python Developer (2 years commercial experience) to work on site in Osterley. They are looking for an indivual who has an interest in moving in to DevOps.Your key responsibilities* Working in the automation team to manage and maintain Jenkins based automation system running CI tests on racks of set top boxes and mobile devices.* Support existing, and create new automation tools for self-diagnosis and selfrecovery to achieve high up-times and availability of execution systems.* Build new, and use existing monitoring and reporting systems for increasing efficiency and reliability of the systems.* Create new dashboards and reports for users and management.* Investigate networking and other infrastructure problems* Co-ordinating with DevOps and Infrastructure lead on issues impacting automation racks, Portals and dashboards* Constant process improvement, simplification and efficiency gains. Your skills* Python (2+3) as a scripting language, including common library usage such as Requests, Flask (or similar)* Some understanding of DevOps technologies.
