IT Support Analyst
One of our logistics clients based in Leicestershire is seeking an IT Support Analyst to join their IT team, providing support for a number of their offices across the UK. You will be supporting hardware, software and business systems for both their internal and external users. This is the ideal role for someone who is looking to take the next step up, into 2nd line support, having been providing 1st line/service desk support for a couple of years.
IT Support Analyst duties will include, but not limited to:
*Providing technical support the IT infrastructure within the organisation (Windows/Microsoft Office)
*Supporting the internal bespoke business systems
*Analysing user issues and queries and implementing/advising corrections
*Building and configuring laptops/desktops/mobile devices/printers
*Managing incidents and requests through the call management system
*Providing cover for the1st line support team when required
*Co-ordinate with 3rd party IT suppliers
*Supporting internal voice and data network infrastructure
*Configuration of the telephony system
*Undertaking data amendments and requests within the bespoke system, as required
As the IT Support Analyst you will be required to possess:
*Strong experience providing 1st line support
*Previous experience working within/providing 2nd line support would be advantageous
*Experience supporting Windows and Microsoft Office applications
*Experience providing remote support of end users via phone, email and portal
*Previous experience using incident and request call logging systems
*Experience with Active Directory (user and computer administration)
*Knowledge/experience of SQL would be advantageous
*Hardware support skills (laptops, desktops, printers, scanners)
*Basic networking skills would be beneficial
