The Financial Services space is at an exciting cross-roads at the moment and this organisation are at the forefront of that period of change, focusing on the implementation of digital solutions into a range of leading Investment Banks and FS organisations. Your role will therefore see you lead the technical design and E2E delivery of cutting edge digital technologies. You will build E2E solutions that include software development & integration, cloud native development, mobile-first principles, quality-focused values and customer-centric experiences.You will work with both internal and external stakeholders to develop roadmaps in line with objectives, working closely with the software teams to ensure the development aligns to the overriding technical strategy. You will spend the majority of your time embedded within customer sites, working directly with the end customers to manage risks and issues related to the projects, ensuring smooth delivery as well as ensuring that the clients expectations are consistently managed.But enough about the role... this advert is all about you. Specifically what you need to bring to the table in order to be considered for this position:Architecture and Design experience of enterprise applications using technologies including Java, JavaScript, Scala, Kotlin and Go.Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps, CI and CD.High-level understanding of architectural methods including Microservices, SOA, RESTful APIs and N-Tier. Experience architecting open source technologies would be the preference.Strong experience working with cloud technologies including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).lHigh-level understanding of CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce), eCommerce platformsExperience in delivering cloud-native applications e.g., AWS, Azure, GCPExperience in delivering end-to-end software delivery lifecycle, using agile delivery methods and multi-disciplinary teamsUnderstanding of FS industry regulations like Open Banking/PSD2 (Banking), Origo Options (Insurance), MiFID II (Capital Markets) etc.In return, you will benefit from a competitive base salary (between £90,000 - £110,000), flexible benefits package, 9% pension and annual bonus.
