They say the average job seeker spends approximately 90 seconds reading a job ad before deciding whether to press 'apply' or 'next', so I wanted to take this opportunity to craft something short and (hopefully) sweet...I have partnered up with a Digital Consultancy in London who are looking to hire an experienced Solutions Architect with a background working within the digital domain. The role is part of a company-wide recruitment drive, aimed at improving the way they deliver solutions to their customers.Your role will see you take ownership of the delivery of said solutions, working on a range of digital transformations in the e-Commerce space with the roles focusing on both internal and external stakeholder management. You will be working on a range of digital architectures, operating in an environment encompassing multi-vendor ecosystems, content management technologies and cloud technology. You will need to be able to hold your own in a room with senior client stakeholders and provide technical guidance to both their clients and teams of consultants that would be working under you.In terms of specific requirements, rather than copying and pasting the JD, I wanted to highlight a couple of specific things you should be demonstrating on your CV:E2E Architecture Experience - proven technical architecture experience around e-Commerce, digital and/or retail solutions in either an End User, ISV or Software Partner. This should include knowledge of architectures/methods including UML, TOGAF, N-Tier and Microservices.Technologies - you must demonstrate proven experience working with a diverse technology stack, with preference going to candidates with knowledge of CRM (Salesforce, Dynamics, Siebel), CMS (Sitecore, Umbraco), Software Development (Java, JavaScript, .NET) and/or Cloud technology (AWS, Azure). This is a diverse role so a diverse background is key.Stakeholder Management Skills - you should have a proven commercial background working with both technical and business-facing stakeholders, including the ability to both manage and influence expectations.Leadership Skills - whilst this isn't a management role, you will be expected to act as a technical leader on numerous projects so should have some proven leadership skills. This business is all about communication so the ability to influence and drive performance from team members is vitally important. So if this advert has been short enough to make you think 'I want this job' then why not apply?
