Technical Operations Manager - London - Investment Management

The role has responsibility for the successful operation of business systems and IT infrastructure. This includes the operational management of significant third-party relationships, alongside the day to day maintenance of system availability, integrity and performance.

Reporting directly to IT Director

Manage day-to-day IT Operations including all aspects of infrastructure and application support.

Lead the operational oversight of a significant outsourced data centre relationship.

Build and maintain relationships with IT and Change colleagues and with key executives to develop a clear understanding of business needs; ensures delivery of Technology services to meet those needs.

Collaborate closely with Group IT and across business divisions as appropriate in the execution of operational support.

Lead a team of Technical Product Owners providing operational oversight of IT services and providing 3rd line support as required.

- Excellent knowledge of and understanding of the day to day operations of a global firm (preferably Investment Management)

- Effective influencing and negotiation skills in an environment where resources may not be in direct control of this role.
