Role: C# Backend DeveloperDuration: 12 monthsLocation: Leicester DescriptionC# Backend Developers will be involved in designing and implementing server-based applications for airport software solutions using Microsoft technologies with Oracle as the back-end database.Ideal candidates will have backend development experience in a technical engineering environment. Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesIn accordance with the client's certification to the standards ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 andOHSAS 18001:2007, each employee will comply with and contribute to the effectiveimplementation of the current client: Health and Safety PolicyQuality PolicyEnvironmental PolicyWork within established Company policies and procedures.Protect the information assets of the Company and comply with the Company's Information assurance policies and procedures.Promote company values and standards and exhibit appropriate behaviour in accordance with Company ethos.Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation.Use talent and ability to encourage achievement and continuous improvement.To ensure your own safety and the safety of others at all times.Develop module design specifications in accordance with the detailed / functional design requirements.To proactively report unsafe conditions, unsafe acts and near misses and to become part of the extra ordinary safety culture and help promote the "Home safe everyday campaign"Develop software in accordance with approved module design specifications.Configuration control of all developed software.Write module tests and perform formal module testing within a configured environmentIntegrate and test developed software modules into overall system/product.To Formally handover completed software modules to the integration test team.To fully understand, take ownership and deliver the scope of work that is being assigned within the budget and time that is allocated to tasks.To identify all risks associated with the planned activities and immediately advise the ProjectEngineer/Project Manager of any issues that could impact the project (including but not limited to technical, interfaces, programme, budget etc.) together with mitigation of impact of these.To Liaise with all necessary interfaces (e.g. other team members, project engineer) to ensurethat all required information for the tasks have been received and to immediately highlight any deficiencies.To provide accurate progress reports including estimates to complete and mitigation of delays etc. on a weekly basisTo work within the defined high-level software team engineering processes and procedures Essential SkillsC#.NetOracleSQLTCP/IP Networks
