UK Wide Travel, - Infrastructure Support, Microsoft O/S, 2nd 3rd line, Java Runtime Environment, Oracle E-BusinessMy leading client is looking for a Infrastructure Support Analyst to work on with an IT Readiness team on a UK wide project. You will be in contact and liaison with Client IT service providers and ensure smooth transition of systems to a new Data center. This role will involve covering the implementation across 250 sites all across the UK - you must be totally flexible to travel throughout the UK by car and it could involve overnight stays. From a technical side you must have the below experienceFamiliarity with Java Runtime Environment (JRE) -IdealFamiliar with hosting ORACLE e-Business suite - IdealAlong with food knowledge of Microsoft O/S and Office Products.Desktop support experience 2nd/3rd line preferably.Working knowledge of Networking and Internet Protocols. You will be assisting in service providers in planning and testing connectivity to the client's systems at the new data center have Good self-organisation and time management. Must be able to arrange own schedule, meetings, site visits, log and progress any calls/support tickets with 3rd Party providers. Ensure Project Manager is kept up to date with accurate Progress/Risks/Issues/Checklists/Documentation. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with IT service providers. Setup and testing of Oracle printing where required and support the IT Readiness team and other project/business teams with other unforeseen IT issues.If this role sounds of interest, please drop me your details
