Senior Desktop Engineer with SCCM expertise and a track-record in a small-to-medium sized Trading business sought by a leading European Hedge Fund. Our client is one of the best known Hedge Funds in London with a 10+ year track-record and £10BN+ in Assets under Management. They are now looking to add an experienced Desktop Engineer to a small but highly skilled team. This hire will also take the lead on SCCM Engineering for End User Computing and it is anticipated that (s)he will have a 75/25 focus in terms of VIP Desktop Support and SCCM Engineering and Support. Requirements 3+ years Desktop Support experience in a Trading environment, especially in a Hedge Fund or Trading house.Experience of face-to-face VIP support with excellent communications skills.Technical expertise in Office 2016 / Office 365, Windows 10, PCs, Laptops and Mobile Devices.Strong SCCM engineering and support skills. Certification highly desirable. Automation experience using PowerShell (or similar automation language with a view to learning PowerShell).Degree educated preferred but not essential.
