My client is a high-profile development company located in Bristol, producing some of the most cutting edge, exciting and sci-fi like technology. This exciting new opportunity for an ASIC/FPGA Digital Design Engineer entails responsibility for the design of circuits vital for the development of this novel technology.

The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience in FPGA/ASIC design flows through numerous successful projects, building FPGA designs. You will get the opportunity to work the whole life cycle, from design, implementation, validation to the verification stage.

An ideal candidate will have some of the following experience:

* Proven track record in designing, implementing and testing end-to-end solutions for FPGA designs using RTL (either VHDL or Verilog)

* 2+ year's experience in ASIC or FPGA Designs

* Strong knowledge and understanding of FPGAs including timing closure;
