JOB DESCRIPTIONLocation: London Department/Practice: ISU Job Purpose and primary objectives: Should be an enthusiastic JavaScript developer who can create the World Class MI Dashboard targeting the executive audience as well as operational stakeholders. To work on cutting-edge World Class Executive and Operational MIStore Dashboards and with Agile team of developers to build related products. Expectation is to define and bring the expertise to build React based Dashboards and components Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team): Part of an Agile team comprising of other TCS staff and from customer - Supervisory / Managerial responsibilities (please specify if the position will have persons reporting to it): None - Other responsibilities - Budgets, targets, equipment etc (please specify): None Key Skills/Knowledge: ? Very strong JavaScript (ES6 /ES7), HTML5, SVG and CSS3. ? An eye for pixel perfect development ? Solid software development with a solid understanding of JavaScript. ? Specific experience developing user interfaces and Dashboards with ReactJS, Redux/ReduxSaga, WebSockets, Node.js, Webpack, ? Highcharts, ChartJS, D3.js and other major UI toolkits for the web. ? Knowledge and experience with AWS, RESTful web service APIs. ? Solid understanding of OO and functional programming techniques. ? Experience with testing frameworks (e.g. mocha, enzyme, karma or jest - bonus points for selenium and cucumber.js). Experience required: ? Deep engineering experience with a focus on rich GUI clients, UI components. ? Passionate individual with an excellent Dashboard and widgets experience, representing customer data. ? Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle. ? Proficiency with SDLC tools (e.g. Confluence, JIRA, Trello, Git, Bitbucket, SourceTree). ? Code such it works with an automated unit, integration and UI tests Duration of the Assignment: 6 months
