If so then I would like to speak with you about this very exciting role that I am helping my client with.
My client don't really have a typical day or typical project. Their clients expect advice, proof-of-values, industrialised solutions; they work on small and very large engagements and we work across several different sectors, including public, CPG, retail, manufacturing and utilities. If you aren't on a project, you could instead be involved in a bid, doing some training, working on a point-of-view, building a demo or contributing to our blog series tips from recent new joiners, who they are happy for you to speak with, is just 'get stuck in').
Key Skills:
* Excellent knowledge of exploiting at least one major Cloud platform (pref. AWS) for delivery of cloud-native solutions.
* A self-motivated desire to continually learn and improve.
* A strong background in Java and core open source technologies and frameworks; experience of building scalable, resilient and secured applications.
* Exposure to and some experience of working with structured architecture approaches (e.g. TOGAF).
* Experience of working in collaborative teams.
* Experience of Agile / Scrum methodology.
Desirable experience of:
* AWS solution architect certification.
* Working with distributed, off-shore delivery teams.
* DevOps background/experience.
* Working knowledge of relevant technologies and software architecture practices such as:
o API-centric architectures.
o NoSQL databases.
o JavaScript frameworks (e.g. ReactJS, NodeJS).
o Microservice-based architectures using domain driven design (DDD) , CQRS and Event Sourcing patterns.
o Containerisation technologies: Docker or Kubernetes.

Salary: £70k-£110k
