My Titchfield based client is looking for a User Researcher to join them for a period of 6 months with the following skill set.

Design

*Proficient in designing interactions professionally for the web, mobile and/or native platforms

*Is a practitioner in designing interactions professionally for the web, mobile and/or native platforms

*Expert in designing interactions professionally for the web, mobile and/or native platforms.

Design Patterns and applications

*Proficient in identifying and recommending appropriate design patterns based on existing mental models

*Proficient in sketching/concepting, design production, hand-coded HTML & CSS, rapid prototyping

*Is a practitioner in identifying and recommending appropriate design patterns based on existing mental models

*Is a practitioner in sketching/concepting, design production, hand-coded HTML & CSS, rapid prototyping.

*Expert in identifying and recommending appropriate design patterns based on existing mental models

*Expert in sketching/concepting, design production, hand-coded HTML & CSS, rapid prototyping.

Team working

*Is a practitioner in working within an agile, multi-disciplinary team environment, and is able to deliver iterative design components (including user journeys) to the development team

*Is a practitioner in working within an agile, multi-disciplinary team environment, and is able to deliver iterative design components (including user journeys) to the development team

*Expert in working within an agile, multi-disciplinary team environment, and has a strong demonstrable ability to deliver iterative design components (including user journeys) to the development team

*Expert in constructively supporting and leading UX Design colleagues on technical UX issues.

Software products

*Proficient in understanding the emerging UX landscape and of understanding implications for own design work

*Practitioner in understanding the UX landscape and feeding potential changes into technical direction of UX design

*Expert in shaping the UX landscape, of taking in the wider implications of the technical strategies and of setting technical UX direction for teams and organisation.

User centered design

*Is a practitioner in working in a user centered design environment, conducting usability studies either directly or alongside user researchers

*Is a practitioner in working in a user centered design environment, conducting usability studies either directly or alongside user researchers

*Expert in user centered design environments with the ability to lead and mentor other designers.

Data informed design

*Is Proficient in using data to inform design decisions various mechanism including A/B or multivariate testing

*Is a practitioner in using data to inform design decisions various mechanism including A/B or multivariate testing

*Expert in using data to implement robust data design decisions across various projects using various techniques.

Communications

*Working knowledge of communicating with peers, and awareness of leading communities of user researchers across an organisation

*Proficient in communicating with peers, and working knowledge of leading communities of user researchers across an organisation

*Expert in contributing and giving technical direction to communities of user experience designers, and ensuring consistency with best practice across government
