RPA Project Delivery Lead

Would you like to be responsible for the day to day delivery of scheduling of automation projects? We currently have a vacancy for an RPA Delivery Lead at our site in Preston.

As an RPA Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for working with the Product Owner to translate requirements into appropriate plans with time and costs whilst maintaining Agile principles. These will then be used to communicate with external stakeholders to communicate progress and to adapt these plans.

This role will provide you with opportunity to understand the Agile Manifesto and tailor Agile Practices such as Scrum and Kanban to suit the nature of work. You will also be able to apply Value Stream Mapping and other Lean Techniques to improve the flow of work through reducing waste.

 

Your main responsibilities as an RPA Project Delivery Lead will involve:

Implementing, running and improving an appropriate adaptation of Agile Practice (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) within the Product Team for Business Projects, Internal Projects, Change and Unplanned Work.

Translating requirements from the Product Owner into plans working within the Product Team using Burn up Charts, Story Mapping, Release Plans and Team Velocity to develop these.

Running effective Scrum Ceremonies

Managing the Product Team and stimulate multi-functional and cross-functional working, a highly collaborative environment and full visibility of all the work

Measuring, analyse and improve the performance of the team and look at metrics like Sprint Velocity, Technical Debt, Unplanned work, Team Happiness, etc. Continuous improvement is key

Conducting Lean analysis such as Value Stream Mapping to optimise constraints and remove impediments. The goal is to improve the flow of work and deliver more value.

Inspiring a Learning Environment - will read, research and learn whilst teaching and coaching others.

Providing reports to the Product Owner on the performance of delivery.

 

Your skills and qualifications as an RPA Project Delivery Lead:

Strong leadership and be able to get the best performance out of the team

Deep understanding of the Agile Manifesto

Strong Understanding of Kanban and how to manage flow through

Previous experience of Robotic Process Automation (RPA)projects and deployments (desirable)

Salary: £39,700+
