HGV Technician

Berkeley, Gloucestershire

£28,000 to £35,000 + Overtime + Bonus + Training + Progression + Pension + Holiday

Excellent opportunity for a mechanically skilled engineer with experience working on plant, vehicles, trailers or HGVs to join an expanding company offering a varied and interesting position and no weekend work, giving you a great work life balance.In this role you will join a growing team working in a busy workshop environment on HGVs. This is a Monday to Friday days based role.The ideal candidate will be a vehicle technician with an understanding of heavy goods vehicles. Candidates from a truck and trailer, PSV, LGV, military, Busses, REME and plant background will also be considered. A Class 2 license would be beneficial but training can be offered on this.This is a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding company offering a long term and stable days based career move.The role:

*Busy workshop environment

*Running defect repairs on site for HGVs and Refuse Vehicles

*Monday to Friday Days 7am to 4.30pmThe person:

*Mechanically biased engineer

*Experience working on HGVs

*Electrical & hydraulic experience beneficial

*NVQ Level 3 qualified
