Depending on which is the best match with your skills and experience you'll be based in one of a range of government departments, including:

Department for Education: work that affects most people at some point in their lives, including introducing new qualifications, building and refurbishing schools, and changing the way children's social care works.

Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA): impacting people's day-to-day lives for the better, from the food we eat, the air we breathe, and the water we drink.

Department for Exiting the European Union (DExEU): committed to delivering the UK's exit from the EU and building a successful future for our country, researching and developing policy and legislation to answer the biggest questions in government.

Department for International Trade (DIT): helping businesses export, driving inward and outward investment, negotiating market access and trade deals, and shaping the UK's approach to trade.

Ministry of Defence (MoD): developing, protecting our country to help guarantee its security and independence, as well as protecting our values and interests abroad.

Ministry of Justice (MoJ): working to deliver a world-class justice system that works for everyone in society.

Wherever you're based you'll build a diverse and rewarding career, working on a range of absorbing and nationally important projects. With significant experience of actively managing project risks and issues, you'll skilfully adapt procedures and methodologies to each unique situation, and you'll lead high performance from your teams on a day-to-day basis.
