Network Engineer - Cisco

Cisco Network Engineer wanted for a Technology Solutions provider who are experts at delivering network and telephony technology solutions for its customers.

As a Senior Network Engineer you will be involved in the preparation, pre-build, testing and configuration of all network and telephony equipment, visits to sites to perform installation, fault finding and resolution for all network and telephony equipment.

You'll be required to take an individual lead on projects, undertaking any necessary work to achieve project targets and on time delivery, liaising with third parties as required.

As a Senior Network Engineer you'll need to be able to demonstrate the following:

*Ability to perform maintenance and configuration tasks on routers, switches, firewalls and wireless equipment

*Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals, IP Subnetting, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and network management

*Strong understanding of networking components (i.e. VPN's, LAN's, WAN's, VLAN's, DNS and DHCP)

*Configuration and Deployment of network switches, and wireless access points

*Core IP, transit and peering, distribution, access, datacentre and enterprise networks

*Experience in MS Windows server, active directory, DHCP, DNS, RDS, Routing and Remote Access

*Juniper (JNCIA), Cisco (CCNA / CCNP preferred) accreditation or equivalent experience
