We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Back End Developer / Software Engineer (Node.js, JavaScript) with experience of popular database technologies such as MySQL, MSSQL and code integration with repositories such as Github and Bitbucket.

As the Back End Developer / Software Engineer (Node.js, JavaScript), you will be part of an agile team on innovative e-commerce projects using the latest technologies and framework, planning, designing and delivering innovative and high quality solutions with a focus on an excellent customer experience.

Working as the Back End Developer / Software Engineer (Node.js, JavaScript) you will help develop the next generation cloud-based platform and applications, plugging into a new AWS cloud infrastructure.

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

As the Back End Developer / Software Engineer (Node.js, JavaScript) you will have:

Proven Node.js development experience

Strong JavaScript skills

Code integration with repositories such as Github, Bitbucket, etc

Knowledge and experience with popular database technologies (MySQL, MSSQL etc.)

Excellent team, communication and collaboration skills

Desire to learn new skills and technologies

Adherence to secure coding practices

Experience of using project management tools such as JIRA

Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies

Working knowledge of current testing processes and methodologies

Nice to haves:

Microservices and separate responsibilities in their apps

Working with Serverless technologies

React experience

Familiarity with the AWS stack
