Software Engineer / Senior C# Developer (Mathematics Scaled Algorithm Agile C# .Net WPF). Would you like to work on complex mathematically based algorithm development, taking ownership within a relaxed development environment?

 

As a Software Engineer you will design and develop new features and enhancements to the core product; a complex "supercomputer" solution that predicts insurance fraud and helps clients to manage risk. Insurance risk management is possibly the most demanding and diverse area in mathematical finance today with insurers needing to construct models of their entire business, projected into the future over many years. There is an urgent need for software that can run these models fast enough so that they can be effectively used in real-time decision making, the core product reduces the time it takes to construct and run these models drastically and they're looking at applying it to other sectors.

 

You'll be working with a modern .Net technology stack with core business logic written in C# with a WPF GUI and high performance native code in C++.

 

Requirements:

Strong C# .Net development skills including multi-threading

Highly numerate with a good grasp of mathematics and complex algorithm development

Passion for clean, well designed code with a good eye for detail

Collaborative and personable with the ability to communicate complex ideas and help mentor more junior developers

Degree educated; Computer Science, Mathematics or Physics preferred
