Investment Reporting Manager
Investment Reporting Manager to be based in London. The Investment Reporting Manager will be joining the Technology Finance FP&A team supporting the Technology organisations for our client. The Technology Finance FP&A team is responsible for all activities that impact the wider technology group including consolidated reporting, budgeting and investment planning. This role will lead, monitor and report on the Investment / Discretionary spend, including coordinating monthly commentary for any variances at a Business case / project level, one time quarterly forecast consolidation for Cost to achieve and partner with the Head of 'Office of CIO' which includes the PMO function. Interaction with Technology Leadership, Technology finance team, the FP&A finance team and other groups such as Accounting Operations and Corporate FP&A will be an important aspect of the role.
Successful candidate must have experience of working in a changing/evolving environment and demonstrate the ability to be a problem solver, be able to quickly establish a robust process and partner effectively with finance and Non-Finance teams. Location: London

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Manage the consolidation of monthly Financials relating to total Investment spend, ensure any variances and expected FY position is well understood. Prepare Exec outputs feeding into the various leadership forums e.g. Finance Leadership team (FLT), Tech Leadership Team (TLT), RXT etc.Lead the annual planning cycle for Tech Investment related spend. Ability to understand the priorities / drivers and provide decision support to the Tech teams including Global Head of Technology Finance as well as Tech Finance Leadership team.Lead on consolidation of quarterly forecast of the cost to achieve across various Productivity, Separation and TSA projects.Primary Finance partner for 'Office of CIO' including the Project Management officePartner with wider Technology Finance Groups to achieve accurate and timely deliverables. Develop solid relationships with all areas of the business and be an effective and trusted partner.Drive process improvements through identifying and leveraging best practices across the organisation.Ensure a robust control environment and ensure timely delivery to the stakeholders. Proactively gather insights and review financial assumptions to ensure they are reasonable and accurate and aligned to the Technology strategySupport as the SPOC for Tech teams relating to any development and testing of new systems and processes within Finance.Ability to manage, develop and motivate direct reports and junior members of the FP&A Team

Technical/Professional Skills & Competencies:Extensive experience gained in Investment reporting, Project Accounting, understand e2e Project life cycle as well as well-versed with basic accounting and financial reporting.Extremely organised with ability to multi-task and prioritise efforts of the team as regular course of actionExcellent communication and people skills; Ability to openly and confidently converse with senior management and influence all areas of the businessSelf-starter able to work independently. Ability to drive a project without close guidance or supervision.Ability to synthesize information and present results in a clear and concise manner to senior executivesExcellent Excel / Access skills is a must, added advantage if has worked with TableauFinancial systems experience a plus (SAP/Hyperion/SAS FM)
