Data Engineer (SQL Python Big Data). Would you like to work on complex and interesting systems using the latest technology within a modern cloud based environment whilst enjoying perks such as flexible working, training and an amazing office environment? As a Data Engineer at this global games software house you will collaborate with software developers, architects and machine learning engineers in an Agile environment; you'll be building CI/CD pipelines (they're using Kafka), integrating 3rd party data platforms, building batch and streaming data pipelines for the Google Cloud data platform and enterprise Data Warehouse, as well as building a variety of services to drive intelligence into internal and external products and platforms. You'll be working on huge datasets using the latest technologies. Requirements: *Strong SQL, T-SQL skills / experience *Experience of data processing using Python (or Java) *Good understanding of RESTful APIs and / or data streaming *Familiar with Agile working practices *Keen to learn and continually develop skillset through supported training and pro-active self-learning *Innovative - keen to collaborate and express ideas to make improvements As a Data Engineer you will earn a competitive salary (to £75k) plus bonus and benefits package.
