Senior Civil Engineer (Rail Design)£400 - £600+ per day (Through umbrella /ltd company)6 month rolling contract37.5 hours a week // Days based Monday to FridayBirminghamAre you an experienced Senior Civil Engineer from a rail background looking for an immediately available, days based, long term contract role working on one of the largest civils/rail projects in the country?Due to an increase in workload my client are now looking for a Senior Civil Engineer from a rail background to work on one of the largest civils/rail projects in the country.This is a fantastic chance for a Senior Civil Engineer looking for an immediately available, long term, days based contract role.The Role:Oversee the integrated design of earthworks, drainage, hydrology, landscaping, fencing, structural heave and settlement mitigationsThe Person:Assist with estimates for the engineering budget and scheduleKnowledge of "Safe by Design", health, safety and welfare awareness in an operating railway environment, and legislation, hazards and safe systems of work.Understanding of Systems Engineering processes, requirements, interfaces, Engineering Safety, RAM, EMC, Human Factors etc.Have a sound knowledge of sustainable development best practice and routinely deliver sustainable technical solutions.Zak Stevens - Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd - RTR84605
