Business Analyst

One of our East Midlands based engineering clients is seeking a technical business analyst to join their team in Leicestershire. You will work with both internal stakeholders and customers to define and document the logistics processes, then converting them into requirements and functional documents. Supporting the design and delivery processes of projects across the organisation you will ensure that the solutions are developed and delivered in line with the customer expectations. This role is critical in ensuring that projects meet the requirements of the clients customers and internal teams.

The business analyst duties will include, but not limited to:

*Gathering business requirements though workshops, document analysis and existing specifications

*Supporting and taking ownership of the design and delivery process of projects to ensure that the solutions are in line with customer expectations

*Working with internal stakeholders and customers

*Creating requirements and functional specifications

*Recommending any changes as appropriate

*Reading Object Oriented code to answer basic technical questions from internal stakeholders

*Documenting the As-Is and To-Be processes using the appropriate tools (case diagrams, process flow diagrams, version control documents)

*Running SQL queries to answer any questions from internal stakeholders

*Support the sales team by providing input and content for sales bids and presentations

As the business analyst you will be required to possess:

*Previous experience working as a technical business analyst

*The ability to read Object Oriented code (Java/C#)

*Experience creating BA documentation

*Previous experience of running SQL queries

*Experience working within an engineering/manufacturing environment would be advantageous, but not essential
