A school like no other, Wellington College is one of the world's leading co-educational boarding and day schools and has an enviable reputation for excellence and innovation. We're currently looking for a technical astute individual with excellent customer service skills, to join our IT team as IT Client Services Manager.
Acting as the liaison point between the IT Services team and College customers (staff, teachers and students) you'll ensure that projects and helpdesk tickets are delivered and resolved to an exceptionally high standard and that all customers are satisfied. We'll also rely on you to maintain and create policies and procedures for the customer services team to adhere to, as well as ensure that the team has the appropriate skills and training. Working closely with the Director of IT Services & Development to align resource and ensure project success, will be important too, as will liaising with the Director of Digital Learning to see that the needs of digital learning are being met.
To succeed, you'll need significant IT support function experience and, ideally, a Computer Science/IT relevant degree. You might have run a small IT Helpdesk in a school/University or business setting or be experienced in IT Helpdesk/Support and looking to move into management. Either way, you'll need a flair for analysis, excellent problem solving and decision-making skills and the verbal and written dexterity it takes to interact with a variety of departments and individuals. As comfortable creating Pivot Tables and V look-ups as you are producing documents that influence college processes and procedures, recommending and implementing approved changes comes naturally to you too.
Not only is this an excellent career development opportunity, it also comes with a generous salary and benefits package. So, if you are committed to contributing towards the College community and keen to continue to develop professionally, apply today.
Full time or job share basis. Required as soon as possible.

Interviews will take place: 5 & 6 September 2019
