Job Title: BSS ICF Data & Reporting Lead

Salary: £53,409 to £57,402 plus £984 location allowance. You will receive £53,409 the band minimum. Progress to the band maximum of £57,402 will be via incremental progression.

The Business Support Services (BSS) Intelligent Client Function (ICF) sits within Corporate Services alongside our key business customers HR, Finance and Commercial Services. The ICF was set up alongside the outsourcing programme to move all of the transactional elements of business support services and the associated technologies from an in house to an outsourced model. The programme to deliver the BSS outsourcing service has now come to a close with the ICF taking on full responsibility for the management of the service.

The core responsibilities of ICF are as follows:

Performance Management & Optimisation of the outsourcing contract

Change Management of all service and technology related changes

Business Change

Financial & Contract Management

Technical Service Management

The ICF's   Technical Service Management‘s responsibilities (of which this role sits under) comprises of:

IT architecture and technical integration

IT Service management

Technical change management

Data & Reporting management

Data security

Technical consultancy and corporate project assistance

This role, a member of the Business Support Services (BSS) Intelligent Client Function, owns and is accountable for the activities and processes under the data and reporting function of the ICF. The role acts as a bridge between the BSS suppliers, the retained support services functions and wider MPS for the data and reporting elements of the BSS Service. The role ensures the best balance of quality, risk and value for money for the MPS, through oversight, challenge, guidance, and as a decision authority to the suppliers.
