Data Architect - Law enforcement - London - 8 month's inside IR35

A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Data Architect to join a law enforcement organisation in central London which is undergoing significant and complex transformation.

The role responsibilities will be:

*Design and implement architectural solutions to maximise the data analysis and exploitation capabilities, (at all security classifications up to SECRET) that align to the organisations architectural principles and standards,

*Translate complex business problems through liaising with projects and business representatives, to deliver optimal designs through an iterative process, aligning the user needs with the system requirements and organisational objectives.

Skills/Expertise:

*In-depth knowledge of data architecture methodologies, frameworks and extensive experience of their application.

*Experience of leading large scale and complex data architecture programmes and projects;

*Experience of the effective adoption and implementation of IT standards and frameworks;

*Practical experience of data architecture and design as applied to data exploitation and analytics capabilities;

*A proven ability to translate technical concepts between software engineering, delivery management and service management so they are understood by all;

*Ability to write architectural design documents, or review design documents provided by others.

*Must have a thorough knowledge of designing and implementing data driven solutions.

*Experience within Secure Government organisations as a data architect.

*Experience in defining Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) processes and schemas.

*Experience in defining and maintaining enterprise wide data standards, practices, and design patterns, ensuring these align with the enterprise architectural plan, HMG strategies, policies, standards and industry good practise.

SC enhanced clearance will be required in order to start this position
