Role profileAssist in the creation, development and implementation of our client's cybersecurity baseline control set within programmes and projects;Deliver security architecture SME's into design reviews to deliver design assurance;Deliver end to end security architecture across technology programmes and projects;Represent our client as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in relation to security architecture, and support wider programmes and projects;Liaise with projects and business representatives to design and implement secure solutions in line with the business requirements;Deliver high-quality artefacts and documentation to support design governance using System Design Reviews (SDR) aligned to the EASE (Enterprise Architecture System Engineering) framework.Submission of updates to technical leadership team via standard reporting mechanisms. Skills/Expertise:Ability to write architectural design documents, or review design documents provided by others.Must have a thorough knowledge of security architecture methodologies;Must have a proven track record of implementing and or assuring infrastructure, applications, and information security solutions including technologies such as protective monitoring covering IDS/IPS, vulnerability management, endpoint security, patch management, system hardening, cloud security, gateway security, encryption and PKI, identity and access management, application security and cross-domain solutions.Must have a thorough knowledge of the Microsoft Windows concepts, Domains, Active Directory and its concepts, and the interaction between hardware, operating systems, network, data centre, and application software.Experience within Secure Government organisations as a security architect.Experience in designing and implementing secure 'On Premise' and 'Cloud' based solutions.Excellent understanding of Government Security processes and procedures.
