IT Support Engineer

I am currently partnered with a one of Cambridge's biggest companies, they are currently searching for an IT Support Engineer to join their fast-paced busy internal IT department. With more than 300 users onsite, their IT department is full of opportunity to learn and grow with the company. You will be exposed to desktop, server &networking support. The ideal candidate with have 1-3 years in a commercial IT environment and looking to move from a junior support or support role looking for their next step in the IT industry.

You will require experience in some of the following:

A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in supporting a diverse and demanding user base

Microsoft Active Directory Administration

Experience or exposure with DHCP, DNS, LANS & WANS

Exposure to windows servers (2003 - 2016), Microsoft exchange or SQL server

Experience supporting Windows Desktops & Mac OSX Desktops

Any experience with Dell hardware - laptops, desktop, servers and storage systems would be a bonus

Any knowledge of virtual servers (Hyper-V) would be beneficial

Any Microsoft certifications would be a fast track to the front (MCP/MCSA)
