ShortList Recruitment are currently looking for a Data Architect to join a industry-leading software house based on the outskirts of Liverpool. The role will involve working closely with several teams across the business so effective communication is a must.

The Data Architect will be placed within the Retail Data Services team and should be an organised, dilligent individual who can multi-task and put the customer at the forefront of their decision making.

With a passion for actionable insight, the Data Architect will have prior experience in SQL (MySQL and T-SQL essential) and have sound knowledge of predictive analysis and data visualisation.

Essential skills for the Data Architect:

Prior experience as Data Architect, Data Analyst or Data ScientistStrong MySQL, MSSQL and T-SQLDatabase experienceStrong knowledge with reporting packages Excel, SPSS, SASStrong analytical and insight skillsBachelor's degree in either Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, IT (desirable)In return, the Data Architect will receive a competitive salary up to £40,000 (DOE) and an excellent benefits package including work from home and flexible hours.
