iOS Developer - Knutsford - £350 per day

6 month contract (minimum)

Pearson Frank are currently working in partnership with a Consultancy who are searching for iOS Developers for a 6 month contract with possible extensions.Working on site in Knutsford, whilst there are transport links, it would be much more convenient to have a UK Drivers license and a vehicle for this role.

Role:Design and build applications for the iOS platformEnsure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applicationsCollaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new featuresIdentify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugsHelp maintain code quality, organization, and automatizationFollow security guidelines while application developmentSkills:Proficient with Objective-C or Swift, and Cocoa TouchExperience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.Experience with offline storage, threading(GCD,NSOperation), and performance tuningFamiliarity with Restful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end servicesKnowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standardsUnderstanding of Apple's design principles and interface guidelinesKnowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferredExperience with performance and memory tuning with tools {{such as Instruments and Shark, depending on project needs}}Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as Git, Mercurial or SVN}}Familiarity with continuous integration, JenkinsStrong hands on OOP concepts and Design patternsGood knowledge of Auto Layout and Sizing classesExperience of working with tools like Jira, SVN, GithubKnowledge of latest design patterns like MVVM, MVPKnowledge of encryption algorithm, security framework and code obfuscation will be an add on advantageGood knowledge of writing reusable componentsFamiliarity with cloud message APIs and push notificationsKnack for benchmarking and optimizationIf you meet the above requirements and believe you would be a suitable candidate, apply now to avoid missing out on this fantastic opportunity as the role will not be on the market long.
